Moving through the wheel of the year with intention. Traditionally the four fire festivals mark the turning of the seasons quartering the Celtic year. Samhain, lmbolc, Beltane, and Lughnasa. These quarters are again divided by the solstices and the equinoxes the thus we arrive at our year divided into the eight festivals, six weeks apart. During our time together we will connect with fire and its ancient consciousness. Taking a moment out of our normal schedule to focus on our heart and life and how our year is progressing. We can look at our inner journey like a garden as we move through different seasons… What is it we wish to plant and grow though the year. What is doing well, or needs tending and what might need to be cut back. What is our intention for the next six weeks (till our next meeting) and how can we make incremental changes now to facilitate our flourishing? We will learn how to work with the light and the dark becoming aware of the blessings and challenges each bring and how to work with them both, embracing them in beauty. As the year unfolds we use our awareness and alignment with earth and the seasons to move with intention and potential. We will learn how to consciously make the most of the ongoing energy of our natural world to support us in our process. We will also work with some of the Irish Gods and Goddesses associated with the time of year for extra support, allowing us to go deeper into understanding the jewels our lives bring forth. These ceremonies are offered with heart to consciously connect us with rhythms of our planet and thus ourselves. They are also offered as an honoring of GrandmotherEarth and all her worlds. Her five kingdoms elemental, mineral, plant, animal and human. As we grow and heal our selves may this spirit of love, nurturing and taking responsibility for our own wellbeing go out for our betterment and the highest and best for all. Aho.
